Just when you think the auto tour at the
Sacramento NWR can't get any more gorgeous, they open up the gate to Pool 2!
We were thrilled to spot this pelican on the same island where we saw a bunch last year...
He was hanging out with his cormorant friends!
Coots were huddled together...
And grebes were showing well in the choppy water...
Such a stunning view!
