We saw a group of Black-tailed Deer on the auto tour and the babies were kicking their heels up and running around, clearly enjoying springtime!

Snowy Sightings
Lots of Snowy Egrets enjoying Pool 2 on the auto tour at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge!

And it isn't every day you see a pheasant walking alongside your car!
In our experience, pheasants are extremely skittish, but this guy had no problem showing off his beautiful plumage!
