We enjoyed a wonderful hike along Manzanita Creek in Lassen Volcanic National Park!

Some of the birds we saw included Western Tanager, Pacific Wren, Dark-eyed Junco, and a Rufous Hummingbird...

Little Hummers

We have so many hummingbirds in the backyard that it's practically become a war zone! After looking closer at some photos I snapped the other day, I can see we have more than one species, too--which I couldn't be happier about! (I'm just about to hit 80 on our Big Year list!)
