Birding at Sunrise ~ Part 2

As the sun rises on the Llano Seco WMA, the scenery transforms into a delicate watercolor painting made up of soft, swirling pastels...
 It's refreshing to find yourself in a place where you are surrounded by more meadowlarks than people...
A small flock of Canada Geese have plenty of elbowroom now that migrating ducks and geese have moved on...
And then the colors shift and the landscape is bathed in rich greens and burnt orange...
 I love how the changing light creates completely different photos of the same bird...

I don't think I've posted a photo of it before because I'm always so focused on the birds!
