Variety is the spice of birding!

The wildlife checklist of the six national wildlife refuges of the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex contains over 300 species of birds and a diversity of animals which have been recorded on the refuges since 1937. We've been visiting the refuges for over a decade and have only seen a fraction of that number. But every time we go, we see something new to add to the list!
