Purple Mountain Majesties

The snow-capped mountains across from the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge put on quite the show during our last visit!

It was the perfect cloudy day to go birding and not have to fight the glare of the sun.

 We saw a variety of ducks, geese and more hawks than I think I've ever seen in one day!
