Gray Lodge WA Auto Tour - Part 2

Welcome back to the second part of our drive through the auto tour at the Gray Lodge Wildlife Area!
These Northern Pintail ducks were packed in so tight, they reminded me of penguins in the Arctic!

There's a Double-crested Cormorant in the photo below, but you'd probably never be able to tell...
 There he is!
 And here is the shorebird I promised you!
 I think this Black-necked Stilt must be a juvenile because he appears more brown than black...
 And, of course, a post on my blog wouldn't be complete without a Great Blue Heron...
This one was waiting to say goodbye to us as we drove out of the area.

Tomorrow, we head out to the country to do some backroad birding!
