Colusa Wildlife

Here are the last of the photos from our drive through the auto tour at the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge...

According to my bird ID app, this is an Olive-sided Flycatcher, making it the first one we've ever seen. We originally thought it might be a Western Wood-Pewee.
It's always nice to add a new bird to my lifelist!

Here's a cute little deer who crossed the road in front of us...
The water level in the year-round canal were the highest we've ever seen...
