Colusa NWR Auto Tour

We went to the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge last week and, looking back, I realized we hadn't been there since October of last year!

Here are a few of the birds we saw during our drive through the auto tour...
A Mourning Dove greeted us at the parking area...
Almost didn't spot this Great Egret, it was so high up in the air!

We always seem to see a lot of Mourning Doves at the refuges and I think they're so pretty...
And, finally, this is the tree I always take a photo of to compare how the landscape changes throughout the seasons...
They were doing some clearing with big equipment and this is the first time I've seen the area bare around this tree.
