Colusa Blooms Too! 2

The Colusa National Wildlife Refuge auto tour never disappoints!

  We've been on the lookout for babies at the refuges...and we finally saw some!

 I can't get over how colorful these pied-billed grebe babies are!

 Not only are they cute, they've got their transportation covered!

The chicks typically leave the nest the first day after hatching and spend much of their first week riding around on a parent’s back. How fortunate we were to get to see them in action!
