Sunrise Staredown

Right after we pulled into the Gray Lodge Wildlife Area, we were greeted by a fierce looking Red-tailed Hawk!

The sun was just about to rise over the mountains and he was on the lookout for breakfast...

 Look at those sharp talons!

Intimidating to say the least!

I'm jealous of how beautiful birds look so early in the morning! Not a feather out of place...
